Real karate, taught the way kids learn best.

Our Kids Karate program introduces children ages 5-15 to Korean Karate in the Tang Soo Do Moo Duk Kwan tradition - the same art our adult students train, scaled to what kids can absorb and enjoy. Classes are 45 minutes, fast-moving, and built around clear goals so students can see themselves improving week to week.

Kids work on stances, blocks, strikes, and kicks, then put them together in forms and controlled drills. Along the way they pick up the things that matter more than technique: paying attention, trying again after a miss, and treating training partners with respect.

What to Know

Getting Started

Bring your child in comfortable athletic clothes for the first class - no uniform needed to start. If they stick with it, a dobok is required, and we offer them to members at wholesale pricing.

Safe & Structured

Classes are age-appropriate and closely supervised. Instructors are CPR certified and background checked, and contact drills are introduced gradually with proper gear.

Beyond the Mat

Karate rewards patience and repetition. The focus, respect, and follow-through kids build in class tend to show up in schoolwork and at home too.

Start with the open house.

Saturday, August 29 at 12:00pm or 2:00pm. Weekly classes begin Wednesday, September 9 - Mondays and Wednesdays, 5:45 to 6:30pm.
