Ten weeks, and you leave with skills you keep.

One-day seminars are a good introduction. They are not enough time to make anything stick. This series runs ten consecutive Saturday mornings so you can learn a skill, drill it, come back the next week and find it still there. That repetition is the whole point.

We start standing, with strikes and footwork, and work through boundaries, grabs and chokes before moving to the ground. Every technique is taught for a real body in a real situation, not a competition. Come as you are. No experience needed, and no assumptions about your size, shape, age or fitness.

What to Know

No Experience Needed

This is built for beginners. If you have never thrown a punch or been on a mat, you are exactly who this series is for. If you already train, you will still find plenty to work on.

What to Wear

Comfortable athletic clothes and bare feet on the mat. No uniform, no equipment to buy. Bring water and hair tied back if it is long.

How It Feels

Some of this material is uncomfortable by nature. Everything is taught at a pace you control, with partners who are there for the same reason you are.
